The first two St. Thomas Aquinas Society events were mini retreat days with Fr. Robert Muhirrwa, a visiting priest from Uganda who was residing at Corpus Christi Church at the time. The themes of these retreat days were The Word of God, Jesus Christ, and The Foundation of Our Faith, July 31, 1991, and Love and Forgiveness, January 9, 1992. Both days were attended by about 50 persons.
Other retreat days included A Retreat Day for Priests on March 23, 1995 with Fr. Enda Herrernan, O.F.M., A Retreat Day for Laity on March 27, 1995 with Fr. William Mendenhall of the Diocese of Vancouver, B.C. who was then teaching at the Roman Rite Seminary in Moscow, with Bob and Penny Lord, and with Sr. Lucy Astuto; Mary, Our Mother Retreat Day, July 20, 1998 with Fr. William Mendenhall, who was still teaching in Russia; The Great Jubilee Year retreat day with Fr. Clement Machado, Dec. 6, 1999; Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Day with Fr. Mitch Pacwa, S.J., August 2, 2001 which has aired on EWTN; and A Call to Holiness in Turbulent Times retreat workshop weekend with Fr. Stephen Valenta, O.F.M. Conv., April 12-14, 2002 at the Radisson Hotel: and Days and Evenings of Prayer and Retreat with Fr. Tomislav Pervan, O.F.M., former Provincial Minister of the Franciscan Province in Hercegvina, Oct. 16 and 17, 2002 at St. Joseph Church Southgate.

Divine Mercy Events
An Evening of Prayer with Fr. S. Seraphim Michalenko, M.I.C., Director of the John Paul II Institute of Divine Mercy was held November 16, 2000. Finally, the Mother of Mercy Messengers, Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy, Dave and Joan Maroney, came and gave an inspiring presentation about Divine Mercy at Holy Family Church in Security, May 9, 2002.

event was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in
